The HECURA grant has provided support for investigations into scalable metadata servers. The team at UNL is interested in providing some tools to measure the scalability of the metadata server for dCache. This page provides documentation for those efforts.

Full source can be found in the UNL subversion repository. Please contact us. Due to licensing restrictions, we cannot redistribute a full implementation of the changes done to PnfsManagerV3; instead, we just offer a patch which can be applied to source code that can be downloaded from dcache.org.
